Celebrating its 21st season, Central Ballet Theatre presents their classic Snow White ballet. With a cast of 140 including guest professional dancers, CBT tells the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, an original ballet loosely based on the Disney movie and includes real swords, lovely ladies, strong men, beautiful costumes, and video backdrops. When Snow White, a spoiled & self-centered young lady, becomes washed white as snow by the Redeemer, she becomes the focus of hatred by evil Queen Ravena, who is determined to have her killed. A deer willingly gives her life for Snow White’s. Adoring animals hide Snow White with the seven dwarfs in hopes of protection. Ravena uses her dark arts to hunt down Snow White and poison her. With the aid of the Holy Spirit, Prince Alfred awakens his true love. This ballet, acceptable for all ages, leaves the audience uplifted and teaches timeless Christian truths in an artistically unforgettable experience.
